2nd Sea State User Consultation Meeting
23-25 March 2021 - Abstract submission is open
The ESA Climate Change Initiative Sea State project is hosting a 3-day meeting to discuss measurements of wave conditions, their effects and user requirements to deliver better climate science and operational outcomes. Hosted by ESA, this online meeting aims to cover measurement techniques from altimeters and other satellite sensors and their integration with in-situ and other long-time records.
Spheres of influence to be encompassed are:
- operational applications related to safety at sea
- offshore operations
- coastal protection and erosion
- effects on ecosystems
- interactions in the Arctic
